The origin of this APP lies in the DAV/DGVFM student/teacher document.

This series, now comprising four volumes, aims to familiarise young people with the exciting subject of actuarial mathematics. Volume 1 - "Stochastics of property losses" is currently available in two languages.
Worksheet 3 contained herein explains a fundamental principle of an actuarial approach in non-life insurance: the Monte Carlo simulation oder frequency-servity analysis.
For example, a number of losses is generated in 1000 simulations (=runs). A severity is then "rolled" for each of these losses. The resulting empirical distributions can then be the starting point for numerous further analyses. This method can also be easily implemented in Excel, R, Python or other tools.
However, the "Actuarial Simulation" APP relieves us of the programming effort, but also allows a deeper insight.
Two versions of the APP are available in the APP store, both in six languages:
Monte Carlo simulation of the frequency / severity of gross losses. Available free of charge in the APP store.
Extension of the baseVersion to reinsurance simulations. Per Risk XL and Aggregate XL with numerous features. Exportable simulations.
